I’ve been hiding in the woods with my family and in-laws since the massacre in Zaklopača on 14 May. Today we have arrived at my father’s house on the outskirts of Srebrenica. We have one floor of the house to live on.

This evening I was taken by my Serb captors to Rasadnik camp, in Rogatica. The men have been separated from the women. I’ve been taken to a room where I found Dad.

It’s only now that I’m making the connection between what I saw on the road and the shooting I heard. It’s clear to me now that all those taken from the camp that morning had been killed.

Today I’ve been beaten by my Serb captors. They kept demanding information about the locations of trenches and mines in Mount Šaran. I know nothing about this. (1/2)

I was beaten on the back with a baton. When I fell down, my torturer began to jump and dance about on me. I felt I was losing consciousness. (2/2)
