Over the last 48 hours, all new arrivals at the Rasadnik camp have been beaten by one of the camp guards, Šolaja, and by the camp warden, Vojinović.

In the region of the free territory of Srebrenica more than 40,000 people have found themselves completely encircled by Serb forces for six months, the vast majority of whom are children, women, and the sick.

These people are practically stuck in the largest concentration camp in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Without food, water, electricity, medicine and other sanitary materials, life is becoming more and more unbearable. These people are threatened every day by the danger of bestial shelling from Serbia, Montenegro, and other Chetnik strongholds.

The medical teams are giving their absolute all to look after the wounded and the sick. However, a lack of the most basic means for curing people as well as the reduced resilience of human organisms due to inadequate food and starvation, are making recovery increasingly difficult.
