The so-called “humanitarian corridors” agreed to by Serb forces, in order to allow Bosnian Muslims to flee to Tuzla, are turning into “ethnic cleansing corridors” according to the UNHCR.

Doctors from the Žepa enclave say that 350 babies and children have died of starvation in the first two months of this year. The Bosnian Government has declared that 2,000 have starved in all four ‘pockets’ (Srebrenica, Žepa, Kamenica and Cerska).

Since the first UN aid convoy back in December of last year, we’ve received nothing. Srebrenica is lonely again.

I fainted somewhere on the hills. I woke up to Dad half dragging me through the snow. He carried me to Šarena Bukva, where people are still living in their shepherd huts. We’ve been let in by a kind family. I’ve been given a herbal tea. We’ll spend the night here.

A guard came to our room, called five adult male detainees out, including myself, and took us to Vinko Bojić’s office. There, I saw a group of four Muslim women, who were detainees, undressing. One was around 65 years old.

Five Serb soldiers were sitting around Vinko’s office. They had ammunition belts and skull insignia on their hats. Vinko Bojić ordered us to undress. We begged him not to, but he ordered us to undress completely.

Vinko Bojić ordered the naked Muslim female detainees to dance with the naked Muslim male detainees, around the Serb soldiers. Then Vinko ordered us men to grab the women by their breasts and ordered the women to grab us by their penises.

There are no words to describe how humiliated I feel.

It’s the crack of dawn and Dad and I are off to Žepa. 50km or so to walk. I don’t have a woollen hat, so I’ve wrapped my head in a thick scarf, from a distance one might mistake me for a woman.
