A significant number of refugees have arrived in Srebrenica, due to the attacks of the army of the Bosnian Serbs on Kamenica, Cerska, Konjević Polje and places in the municipality of Srebrenica. (1/2)

Our freedom fighters have brought a Serb plane crashing down! An aircraft had taken off from Bratunac while our fighters were climbing up the mountain. (1/2)

They were already quite high up when they saw it – having just taken off they were practically at eye level – so they opened fire and, to their astonishment, the plane crashed into the ground! (2/2)

Given the total lack of baking powder and yeast in Srebrenica, people have started using the dry powder from fire extinguishers as a raising agent. Fire extinguishers are not in short supply. Every building has them, every office and factory. (2/3)

All the extinguishers are being picked up and smashed, the powder taken out and sold in the marketplace. I have no idea what kind of chemical it is and what possible long-term consequences it may have on our health. (3/3)

The liberated territory is getting more and more difficult to keep control over. The Serbs also understood that a bunch of badly armed and poorly dressed guerrilla fighters was threatening to become an army. (1/2)

As we enter spring, Serb forces are deciding to deal far more seriously with ‘free Srebrenica’, which by now means a territory stretching from Rogatica nearly all the way up to Zvornik. (2/2)
