🧵 Muslims continue to attack our lines. They are also staging bloody scenes in Sarajevo, with mass killings including the one at Markale market. We know that they used all sorts of dolls and old corpses from previous exchanges of fire between Muslim and Croat forces.

As is custom, we are immediately accused of having committed it, and this has caused us many problems. We will hold onto what territory we have. If we do not, this would possibly be the first war in which a victorious army withdraws from some of its territory.

It would be setting a bigger precedent than if we were to hold onto what we have defended, on what is our territory. I’m not saying that we should aim to hold onto all 72% of Bosnia, but at least 64%, which is our territory.

War is total. We cannot leave or allow peace in battlefields where things are going badly for the Muslims, or where they have hope of building something.

The world has realised that a unified Bosnia is not possible.

We have a to use force when we are defending our people and their biological survival, and of course there is no biological survival without territory.

🧵 Two things have happened that have in my opinion strengthened our position, in terms of being recognised, in terms of our sovereign political status, in terms of our right to our own territory.

The first thing is the arrival of Russia, a more energetic entrance into this whole affair, which has coincided with our interests.

The second event which suits us is the proposal of creating a Croat-Muslim federation. @davidowen says one thing which is true: the most difficult problem is that the Muslims have never had their own state-like territory, but now they are ‘required to insure’ that territory.

Now it seems to me that the matter has been happily brought to an end through this federation between Muslims and Croats.
