Serb forces have taken my son, Nermin, away from me. We were (I am still) in @unproforbih’s Potočari base.

I’ve returned to Bukva to find the bodies of my father-in-law and brother-in-law. I’ve found them both. My bro-in-law was just 16. I’ve covered him with some branches, and I’m carrying my father-in-law with me. We’re being hunted down like animals.

My husband, Ramadan, has been taken away from me by Serb forces as we were boarding the bus to be deported. He was holding our child when a Chetnik grabbed his shoulder. My husband said, “I have nobody to give my child to.” The soldier said he didn’t care: “Get rid of it then.”
