God, I’ll never forget the look on Fehim’s face when I asked to put his name on the list. He’s my neighbour. I’ve known him my whole life. He’s holding his newborn baby girl in his arms and firmly holding the hand of his older four-or-five-year-old daughter. (1/2)

We’ve survived the ambush but my brother has been hit right in the stomach. His right leg has also been broken. I don’t know how to help him. I can’t lose him.
