I’ve been captured by Serb forces with my 14-year-old son, husband and a group of around 50 Muslim residents. We are being transferred to Rasadnik concentration camp.

Serb camp guards are beating inmates. They took one of my husband’s cousins away for “interrogation.” That night they killed him, without guns or knives. He was old. (2/2)

I’ve just been interrogated by the Serb platoon commander in the hall. He held a knife to my throat. Serb soldiers were drinking, singing. They were spitting at me, and tore off my headscarf. (1/2)

I’ve been returned to the detention room in Rasadnik camp. I can hear my husband being beaten in the adjacent room. My son asked me if I was still alive. I told him, ‘yes’, and told him to stay quiet.

My husband has been returned to the detention room. He’s trampled all over, his head is swollen. None of us dare speak to him. We’re all afraid that the Serbs will see us helping him.

Today I was violated in the most evil way in Rasadnik concentration camp. I knew my rapist. He lay on top of me, drunk. I couldn’t escape.

Today I was attacked again in Rasadnik concentration camp. The boy was young enough to be my son. He told me, “I have to rape you, they will kill me if I don’t.”

Today I was taken out with a male detainee. The Serb guard forced me to pleasure the male detainee. I had no choice, no hope of escaping. Other Serb soldiers were watching. Now that episode is over, I’m struggling to pull myself together. I don’t know if I’m alive or dead.
