Dr. Radovan Karadžić

Radovan Karadžić (Serbian Cyrillic: Радован Караџић, pronounced [râdoʋaːn kâradʒitɕ]; born 19 June 1945) is a Bosnian Serb war criminal, politician, psychiatrist and poet. He was convicted of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).[2] He was the president of Republika Srpska during the Bosnian War.

The Serb nation must not, within the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, fall under the domination of the majority nation, that is, the Muslim national community.

🧵 The fight for Sarajevo will decide the fate of Bosnia. While we have part of Sarajevo under our control, Alija Izetbegović does not have a state.

We will only for UN troops to be deployed in Bosnia after demarcation has been achieved exclusively along the borders of the three national states (Serbs, Croats, Muslims).

We hope that this scenario will be achieved just as it was in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. There the green line was drawn with UN troops along this line, which has lasted for 9 years nows. This is what we want in Bosnia.

🧵 Today the Serb Assembly has set out its Six Strategic Goals, faced with the Islamic fundamentalist threat that is an independent Bosnia. I would like to emphasise Strategic Goal Numbers 3 and 5.

3. “The establishment of a corridor in the valley of the Drina River, meaning the elimination of the Drina as a border between the two Serb states.”

5. “The Division of the city of Sarajevo into Serb and Muslim parts”.

Both 3. and 5. are crucial. The Drina Valley is of strategic interest to us and is our living space. Moreover a Serb Drina Valley will prevent our enemies from establishing a corridor which would connect them to the Islamic International.

The Muslims are very interested in the Drina River because it offers them the possibility of support from Islamic countries, above all from Turkey. We can’t let this happen.

We cannot allow the Muslims to establish a green/Islamic transversal through the Sandžak and Kosovo and the Albanian part of Macedonia and thus create a foothold for Islamic, above all Turkish, interests in Europe. This is why the Drina must be Serb.
