🧵 An address from the Assembly of the Republika Srpska to our Orthodox brothers in Serbia and Montenegro:

Our dear Orthodox brothers, we are brothers in blood, faith, and suffering. We are defending bare lives, the right to survival, the right to live like other nations.

Only the border along the Drina and the splitting of the ethnic Serb totality remains the thin thread that binds our enemies together. To Catholicise or to Turkify, these are the solutions offered by the Vatican and Jeddah.

What does an Arab have in common with a Muslim-Turk from Bosnia? What binds them together? Only Islam, neither ethnicity nor language, nor demographic similarity.

Is there anything more natural than for us to, like the Slovenes and Croats, have our own state?

Who will stand beside us if not first of all you, the people of Serbia and Montenegro, then our Orthodox brothers: Russians, Greeks, Romanians, Macedonians, Bulgarians and Armenians?

This battle will not stop while traitors and vagabonds are destroying Serbia and Montenegro. To recognise (Josip) Broz’s borders without resolving the Serb question would be treason.

Only a backstabber to the Serb and Greek people could recognise Macedonia. To call a brother our enemy, to hold the Serbs in Krajina accountable for defending themselves, only a non-Serb could do this.

Are we going to see the collapse of the Serb state? Are they going to wipe us off the map? You, our brothers and sisters in Serbia and Montenegro, will answer this question.

🧵 In addition to these negotiations in Geneva the Serb people should finally go and look for friends in the Orthodox world.
