Today we are tabling Resolution 819 in order to reverse Serb aggression and lift the arms embargo of Resolution 713, which disproportionately hinders the Bosnian people’s right to self-defense.

Today we’ve submitted our memorandum to the President of the Sec Council. In it we state that Bosnia’s “safe areas” must be guaranteed protection by UNPROFOR. Without this, the “safe areas” will provide no help to their inhabitants but rather force them into helpless submission.

We strongly criticize the “joint-action program” proposed by the governments of 🇬🇧, 🇫🇷, 🇷🇺, 🇪🇸, 🇺🇸. It lacks a clear commitment to revising the consequences of Serbian aggression and omits any lifting of the arms embargo.
