BREAKING: Serb occupying forces have surrounded the village of Glogova (Bratunac municipality). Village had already been disarmed on 25 April. Remaining Muslims were arrested and most of the village burned to the ground.

Just survived a bomb attack on Srebrenica. JNA planes flew above and dropped bombs on the town. One fell on the playground. I’m terrified of every sound now. Why are they bombing civilians?

Team of us in Srebrenica are collecting the dead bodies of our friends and neighbours, who have been murdered by Serb occupying forces. Team is led by Dr. Nijaz Džanić and several others from the town.

Today we found between 25 and 30 dead bodies. We drove them up to the White Mosque in Srebrenica, where we will be burying them. I cannot believe what is happening right now.

🧵 I’m being detained by Serb occupying forces in the Vuk Karadžić School in Bratunac. There are over 500 Bosniak men being held here with me. Atrocities are taking place every day.

The detainees are forced to huddle in a section of the sports hall. There are so many of us that some men have suffocated to death.

The Serb guards regularly select men to be taken outside to be tortured and killed. Today I was ordered to carry a dead body to the hangar, where there is a heap of dead Bosniaks.
